About
Alicia’s expertise and strategic approach to marketing, program development and pursuing external funding sources play a critical role in the services provided by BCI Management.
At Bryant Christie Inc., Alicia leads the company in identifying new business opportunities and implementing growth strategies across the business units – Global Access, Market Development, and Research and Information Services. She also leads technical research programs on behalf of several U.S. agricultural industries.
Alicia’s past experience includes serving as Vice President of Global Business Development for the North American Blueberry Council (NABC) and the U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council (USHBC), a Federal Research and Promotion Program. She developed new global market opportunities for industry stakeholders by leading results-oriented programs around the world. Specifically, Alicia led the first-ever USA Blueberries promotion in China, created an R&D Advisory Board to better inform ingredient channel marketing, and initiated research that addressed technical barriers to trade. Her efforts to expand export promotion programs contributed to the increase in export value of U.S. highbush blueberries by 20%.
Alicia is a graduate of the University of California at Davis with a degree in international relations and Spanish. She also completed coursework in international economics at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile.
